James R. Pagano, Chief Executive Officer: Prior to joining Terra-Gen, Mr. Pagano was President of LS Power Development, LLC. Prior to LS Power, Mr. Pagano was a Senior Vice President of Caithness from January 2004 to December 2006. From 1992 to 2003, Mr. Pagano held various positions with Cogentrix Energy, Inc., including Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President-Development. Previously, Mr. Pagano was an Associate with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett where he represented developers and lenders in connection with independent power projects. Mr. Pagano received a B.A. in Economics with highest distinction and a J.D. from the University of Virginia.
Kenneth P. Hoffman, Chief Operating Officer: Prior to joining Terra-Gen, Mr. Hoffman was a Senior Vice President of Caithness, after joining Caithness Equities Corporation in March of 2000. Prior to joining Caithness, Mr. Hoffman was a Vice President of FPL Energy, Inc. From 1989 until 1993 he was the Vice President of Business Management of ESI Energy, Inc. Before 1989, Mr. Hoffman was employed by Florida Power & Light Company. Mr. Hoffman holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.
John W. O'Connor, Chief Financial Officer: Prior to joining Terra-Gen in 2009, Mr. O’Connor served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for Cogentrix Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Goldman Sachs Group. From 1994 to 2004, Mr. O’Connor held various financial management positions with Cogentrix Energy, including Senior Vice-President – Finance & Treasurer and Vice-President – Controller. Prior to joining Cogentrix Energy, Mr. O’Connor worked for the audit division of Arthur Andersen. Mr. O’Connor holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Wake Forest University.
Steve Doyon, Senior Vice President and Head of Development: Prior to joining Terra-Gen in 2008, Mr. Doyon was a Managing Director for AES, responsible for business development for the North American region, including renewable and non-renewable power development. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Doyon was Director of Business Development for DTE Energy Services, the unregulated affiliate of DTE Energy Holdings. Mr. Doyon was employed as Vice President of Business Development for Cogentrix Energy from 1992 to 2004, focusing on business development in the U.S. and internationally. From 1986 to 1992, Mr. Doyon was employed by several consulting firms focusing on siting and licensing IPP and utility scale renewable and non-renewable power projects in the southeast U.S. Mr. Doyon holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Florida.
Joseph C. Greco, Senior Vice President: Prior to joining Terra-Gen, Mr. Greco, was Vice President, Western Region of Caithness, who joined Caithness Equities Corporation in January 2001 and served as Vice President since May 2005. Prior to joining Caithness Equities Corporation, Mr. Greco was Vice President of UAE Energy Operations Corp. from 1998 until January 2001 and was responsible for operations and business development. Mr. Greco also served 3 years as an asset manager for various projects while employed by UAE Energy Operations Corp. From 1987 to 1995, Mr. Greco was an employee for Consolidated Edison Company of New York and held various management and engineering positions. Mr. Greco received a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College.
M. Ward Scobee, Senior Vice President: Prior to joining Terra-Gen, Mr. Scobee served as Director, Business Management at Caithness Energy, LLC. Mr. Scobee has over 16 years of experience in the electric power industry. Prior to joining Caithness in May of 1999, Mr. Scobee was with Dynegy Inc. located in Houston, Texas, where he served in a variety of capacities in both the financial and operational divisions of the company. Upon joining Caithness, Mr. Scobee assumed responsibility for the commercial management of a number of Caithness' power generation assets, including gas, wind, solar and geothermal. Currently Mr. Scobee oversees all of Terra-Gen's operating wind projects and is actively involved in the company's wind development efforts. Mr. Scobee earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Houston Baptist University in Houston, Texas.
Frank Peacock, Senior Vice President: Prior to joining Terra-Gen in 2008, Mr. Peacock was a Vice President for LS Power responsible for business development in the Southeast. Prior to this, Mr. Peacock was a consultant to the energy sector with involvement in both renewable and non-renewable business development activities. From 1992 to 2002 Mr. Peacock was a Vice President of Development for Cogentrix Energy with business development in both the U.S, where he was instrumental in the successful development of approximately 4,000 MW of capacity; and as Managing Director of Cogentrix’ Asia office. Prior to joining Cogentrix, Mr. Peacock was a Sales Manager for GE, with activities in international, domestic, and Department of Defense arenas. From 1975 to 1977 Mr. Peacock was a nuclear engineer for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission following his five years of naval service as a nuclear trained submarine officer. Mr. Peacock holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy.
